Pfeiffer attended SAMATOR Indonesia's 50th Anniversary, jointly exploring new opportunities for green hydrogen development

From July 21st to 23rd, Liu Jianqiao, Market Manager of PFEIFFER, was invited to attend the 50th-anniversary celebration of SAMATOR Group, the largest industrial gas producer and manufacturer in Indonesia. He also accompanied Xu Xin, director of the IG CHINA organizing committee, and Indonesian clients on a site visit to the benchmark project built by PFEIFFER for Xin Asia Steel Plant—a 500Nm³/h natural gas hydrogen production unit.
SAMATOR Group's 50th Anniversary Celebration
On July 21st, SAMATOR Group celebrated its 50th anniversary. PFEIFFER was invited to attend the event, with Market Manager Liu Jianqiao representing the company.
Established in 1975, SAMATOR Group has, through fifty years of relentless efforts, become the largest industrial gas producer and manufacturer in Indonesia. The group has more than 30 subsidiaries, with a wide business portfolio spanning industrial gases, energy, logistics, real estate, and education. In the industrial gas manufacturing sector, SAMATOR Group holds over 50% of the Indonesian market share, demonstrating its unshakeable industry position. As of last year, the group has invested in and completed the construction of 56 gas plants and 103 gas stations. Its comprehensive industrial layout provides solid gas support for Indonesia's industrial development.
On-site Inspection of PFEIFFER's Project
On the 22nd and 23rd, Manager Liu accompanied Xu Xin, director of the IG CHINA organizing committee, and Indonesian clients on a site visit to the benchmark project newly built by PFEIFFER for Xin Asia Steel Plant. The project uses a 500Nm³/h natural gas hydrogen production unit with a purity of 99.999%. This unit has achieved stable operation for a continuous year, providing efficient and reliable power support for Xin Asia Steel Plant's galvanized sheet production line and helping the client reduce hydrogen costs by more than 50%.
At the project site, Manager Liu engaged in in-depth technical exchanges with clients on advanced natural gas hydrogen production technology, focusing on Double Carbon and exploring constructive discussions on low-cost, sustainable hydrogen solutions under the goal, jointly exploring innovative pathways for green development!
