Recently, the 35000 Nm3/h methanol hydrogen production project of Inner Mongolia Qinghua Group, which was contracted by Hangzhou Pufeike Air separation Equipment Co., Ltd., successfully produced qualified hydrogen with a purity of 99.99.
The project adopts the advanced multi-tower and multi-stage methanol hydrogen production and PSA pressure swing adsorption complete set technology of Hangzhou pufico air separation equipment co., ltd. since the construction began in March 2023, pufico company has strictly controlled the quality, from the overall construction quality of the project to the selection of program-controlled valves to the sealing requirements of pipeline welding flanges, to ensure thatSafety and stability of the entire process. The success of this project not only marks a new milestone in the field of large-scale methanol hydrogen production, but also contributes to the development of large-scale methanol hydrogen production and PSA technology!
The methanol hydrogen production project adopts the advanced methanol hydrogen production technology and PSA pressure swing adsorption complete set technology of Hangzhou Pufeike Air separation Equipment Co., Ltd., and adopts high-copper catalyst and PSA adsorbent with excellent performance and reliable and stable program-controlled valve developed by Southwest Chemical Research Institute. The methanol hydrogen production project uses methanol + desalted water as raw material, uses the heat energy provided by the heat-conducting oil furnace to vaporize methanol and water, and cracks and reacts under the action of the catalyst to generate the shift gas. The shift gas is then passed through PSA, and the impurities (mainly CO and CO₂) in the shift gas are adsorbed by using the selective adsorption performance of the adsorbent to separate hydrogen with a purity of more than 99.9%. According to the calibration results after the smooth operation of the device, compared with similar operating devices in China, the energy consumption is low, the methanol consumption is small, and the energy saving and economic effect are obvious. The unit can produce 35000 Nm3/h of hydrogen at full load, which can meet the hydrogen demand of 160000 tons/year and 500000 tons/year coal tar hydrogenation unit of Inner Mongolia Qinghua Group Ustai Fine Chemical Co., Ltd. at full load at the same time, thus realizing a stable supply of hydrogen.
The success of the one-time test run of this project not only marks a new milestone in the field of large-scale methanol hydrogen production, but also contributes to the development of large-scale methanol hydrogen production and PSA technology!
